Job Requirements

Semiconductor Production Operators at IM Flash Technologies operate cutting edge, high technology equipment for production and testing of our semiconductor products. The equipment utilizes a variety of mechanical, electrical, and chemical processes. Responsibilities include maximizing the efficiency of several pieces of equipment at the same time, monitoring the quality of product, and maintaining the periodic qualification of equipment. The work environment is very fast paced and team oriented, providing an excellent learning and work experience.

Production Leadership positions are filled internally, and IM Flash Technologies provides educational and development programs for individuals interested in pursuing leadership or technical career opportunities within our fast growing company.

Qualifications

Applicants must have basic math skills and the ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbally; including the ability to accurately read and interpret verbal and written instructions, strong attention to details, communicate workstation and product status, communicate tool/process issues, ability to efficiently organize, balance and prioritize multiple task and duties, work well in a team environment, and clarify questions to ensure understanding. This position requires no previous manufacturing experience. Other requirements include the following:

Operators must be able to (with or without an accommodation):

  • Excessive standing throughout the shift
  • Excessive walking throughout the shift
  • Excessive sitting throughout the shift
  • Lift up to 18 pounds throughout the shift
  • Perform production operations according to specifications
  • Operate numerous PC based programs requiring use of a keyboard
  • Push/pull transport carts requiring approximately 25 - 100 pounds of force to move  product to and from various production areas
  • Monitor test wafer amounts and communicate needs to area lead
  • Operate area equipment and support tools
  • Process product through the production area
  • Maintain a positive job performance
  • Understand and comply with quality standards
  • Adapt to changes and shift dynamics

Due to the delicate nature of our products, manufacturing areas are kept particle-free and static-free. To accomplish this and avoid damage to our products, operators work in a cleanroom environment. In the cleanroom, you are required to wear a full-body jumpsuit over your regular clothes, booties over your shoes, gloves, a head covering, face mask, and safety glasses We operate 24 hours/day each day of the year. Our shifts are in 12-hour increments, starting at approximately 6:30am until 6:30pm for days, and 6:30pm until 6:30am for nights. Actual start times may vary slightly depending upon area of assignment. Applicants for this position must be willing to work any shift which involves weekends, nights, and holidays.

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
